Perry Emergency Ambulance, Inc.
Perry Emergency Ambulance, Inc. was founded in 1967 as an independent volunteer ambulance service, which operates as a non-profit organization. Perry is the only independent volunteer ambulance service in Wyoming County.  Perry Ambulance provides service to the Village and Town of Perry and to other communities through the mutual aid system. Perry Ambulance is a member of Western Regional EMS and the Wyoming Erie Regional EMS councils. Perry Ambulance is staffed by career and volunteer New York State Certified Emergency Medical Technicians at the Basic and Advanced Levels, and Professional CPR certified Designated Drivers.  Numerous Contributory Members provide valuable support services.  Perry Ambulance is on call through 911 Dispatch 24 hours a day, every day.  The unit responds to over 500 calls each year from general illness transports to motor vehicle accidents and fire or disaster standby.  Perry Ambulance primarily operates on revenues generated from service fees and is recognized by most third party payers. Perry Ambulance also acknowledges the support of its community for all the volunteer time, support of fundraising efforts, memorials and contributions.
