DRI/NYF Downtown Grant Application

The Village of Perry is applying for up to $10M in grant funding to support public and private projects. These opportunities are designed to catalyze downtown revitalization. If successful with an application, the timeline from grant award to completed projects would span multiple years.

The opportunity that is presented by these programs ties into long-range Village priorities, which are described in the Comprehensive Plan and illustrated by other initiatives.

August 27th: Visit the Farmers' Market (9am-12pm) to learn more and share your ideas and opinions! Drop in for 5 minutes or more!

Background information

If the application is successful, would all the potential projects happen?

Probably not! If the application is successful, a detailed planning process will follow, which will include detailed project planning with a committee of stakeholders.

There is no guarantee that a project proposed in the application will successfully complete a detailed planning phase. Proposed projects would not receive a specific amount of funding based on the information available at the application stage.

Why Apply?

Big projects need big investments. To accomplish bigger goals, larger investments are needed that could be supported if the village is successful with its application.
