Notice of Public Hearing - Community Development Block Grant Program

The Village of Perry, New York has scheduled a public hearing for Monday, March 21, 2022.  The hearing will start at 8:00 PM and will be conducted in the Village Hall located at 46 North Main Street, Perry, New York 14530. 

The public hearing will be held to provide residents with information about a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program implemented by the Village.  The Village received approval for $300,000 in Fiscal year 2019 CDBG grant funding to make ADA improvements to the Village Hall of which includes the installation of an elevator in the lobby and a fire escape form the top floor.

Residents are invited to attend the hearing to comment on this project.  The Village will provide more detailed information at the hearing to comply with the legislative and program requirements which govern the Community Development Block Grant Program.  This information will also be posted on the Village website at villageofperry.com or sent by mail upon request to the Village Administrator at the Village Hall address. 

The Village Hall is in compliance with accessibility standards under the Americans with Disabilities Act.   If special accommodations are needed for persons with disabilities, those with hearing impairments, or those in need of translation from English, should contact Samantha Pierce at (585) 237-2216 at least one week in advance of the hearing date to allow for the necessary arrangements.  Written public comment or emailed comments may be submitted to Mayor Hauser (rick@insitearch.com) until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 23, 2021.
