Perry to Engage in Urban Forest Inventory

Funded through a NYSDEC Urban Forest Grant, the Village of Perry has contracted with Wendel Architecture to inventory and identify the health and status of trees on Village property and Village right of way areas.

This project anticipates inventory efforts of nearly 1,225 trees along the Village streets and parks. This inventory will be used to provide a database for managing the ongoing health of the Village's tree canopy. The first step of this project will include a certified arborist to physically inspect and categorize trees during June and July of 2019. We ask property owners, pedestrians, and drivers to have patience as these professionals will be walked the streets and parks of the Village.
