Village Park Paving Project

Village will be performing asphalt pavement replacement work at Village Park.

The Village has contracted with Midland Asphalt to perform a full depth reclamation project on the pavement in the Village Park. This approach grinds up the existing asphalt layers and mixes it together with fresh rock and a polymer base to create a solid foundation for new pavement. Initial work will begin on Wednesday, August 21st. Two days of grinding will take place to provide a base. A second phase of work will occur the first week of September which will include laying a chip seal on the new surface. The resulting roadway will be similar to what work took place at the Warsaw Village Park last year. The surface will be smooth, pothole free, and will have a small gravelly type consistency over the winter. The Village anticipates following up with an additional layer of asphalt during June of 2020 depending on the results of the full depth reclamation effort.
