Village Parks Still Open with Reminders of Social Distancing Protocols

Village Parks are still open for solitary and family enjoyment - just remember to be safe!

Signs have been posted around the Village Park playgrounds encouraging proper social distancing. Maintaining a six foot distance from non-immediate family members and a caution to wipe down equipment before and after use is advised.

Getting outdoors is an excellent way to cope with the social interruptions of COVID-19 precautions but residents should still take care in how they interact. One COVID-19 impact is that the basketball hoops have been taken down at the park.

While this penalizes the single individual or family members from shooting around, it does avoid groups of people congregating and making physical contact. The Village is mindful of the inconvenience and will reinstall the basketball hoops as soon as social distancing protocols are relaxed.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work through this as a community.
