Perry Public Beach 3750 Walker Rd

The newly renovated Perry Public Beach at Silver Lake is a lovely, sloping grassy park-like area from which visitors can access the lake.

The Public Beach is open from 6 am to 11 pm.

Amenities & Facilities

The beach provides lovely views and photographic opportunities for visitors.

It is a wonderful place to bring a blanket and picnic, or read a book and enjoy the lake.

Parking is available close to the road (Walker Rd), and it is easy to bring lawn chairs down to the grass from the gravel parking lot.

  • There are no fees to visit or access the beach
  • No life guard service / No swimming

The Perry Beach at Silver Lake hosts summertime performances by Shake on the Lake, which are usually held in the first or second week of August (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).

Attendees bring blankets and chairs to watch the outdoor performances.

The beach is one of four identified priorities in the Silver Lake Trail feasibility study.

The Village of Perry is interested in opportunities to improve and increase use of the beach.
