Perry's Public Beach at Silver Lake is a lovely, sloping grassy park-like area from which visitors can access the lake. This park is currently being renovated, and we look forward to announcing its re-opening later in the Summer of 2020.

Amenities & Facilities

The beach provides lovely views and photographic opportunities for visitors.

It is a wonderful place to bring a blanket and picnic, or read a book and enjoy the lake.

Parking is available close to the road (Walker Rd), and it is easy to bring lawn chairs down to the grass from the gravel parking lot.

  • There are no fees to visit or access the beach
  • No life guard service / No swimming
  • There are no permanent restroom facilities at this time

The Perry Beach at Silver Lake hosts summertime performances by Shake on the Lake, which are usually held in the first or second week of August (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).

Attendees bring blankets and chairs to watch the outdoor performances.

The beach is one of four identified priorities in the Silver Lake Trail feasibility study.

The Village of Perry is interested in opportunities improve and increase use of the beach. The Village Beach Improvement Project is underway and additional information on that project can be found on the Initiatives tab of the Village website.
