Village Parks

The Village of Perry has three parks that are available for public recreation and enjoyment, as well as the Perry Beach on Silver Lake and the Silver Lake Trail. Parks are open from 6AM to 11PM.

The 2024 Splash Pad hours at the Village Park are:

  • May 24 - June 21 from 12PM until 6PM.
  • June 22 - September 2 from 11AM until 7PM.
  • September 3 - end of season (TBD) from 12PM until 6PM.

Perry Village Park

Perry Village Park offers playground equipment, two basketball courts, five tennis courts (two striped for pickleball), baseball and softball diamonds, a Splash Park in the summer, restroom facilities and more.

Park amenities are organized around a half-mile paved oval track with a designated bike lane that is safe for bikers, walkers and runners as well as two covered pavilions with picnic tables that may be reserved for day use.

Get the form to reserve a pavilion, ball field or to schedule an event here or at Village Hall.

Village kids, young and not-so-young, enjoy fishing at the park pond.

Inside the park, visitors will also find the Perry Firemens' Building, which may be hired for events. For information, contact the Fire Department.

Park Ave Park

Park Ave Park is home to Perry's public soccer fields.

Park Ave is located on the east side of Main Street, and is accessible from Walnut Street or Handley Street (adjacent to the medical center).

Memorial Park

Memorial Park is located downtown at the corner of Main and Dolbeer Streets.

Memorial Park serves as a Main St. Trailhead for the Silver Lake Trail. Mural artist Shawn Dunwoody worked with community members (from elementary and high school students to Rotarians and beyond) to find the story lines for this bright and exciting forward-looking community mural which debuted in 2023.

A beautiful peace garden was added to the park in 2024. It commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Perry Rotary club, and was completed with the club's support!
