Covid-19 delayed the Village of Perry’s Arbor Day event a few months, but it was none the less successful when it occurred on Thursday, September 3, 2020. The Village of Perry Tree Board sponsored a pruning workshop in the village park.
The Village of Perry Tree Board will hold a special Arbor Day event on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. in the Village Park at Lake St. All residents are invited to a tree pruning workshop, conducted by Don Gasiewicz, Wyoming County Cornell Cooperative Extension horticulture/natural resources community educator.
With the continuing struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic, several traditional summer activities are being modified or cancelled. Here's a short breakdown from the Village's perspective.
Per the Governor's executive order and in an effort to reduce transmission of the COVID-19 virus, the Village Board of Trustees will convene their board meetings via a WebEx video conference platform. Public and media are invited to participate. They can do so by choosing either a video conference or phone conference option.
